our inspiration
Jacob Bargo’s love for coffee started in his early teenage years, deeply inspired by the cold brew phenomenon of Uel Zing in Bloomington, IN. This passion led him to immerse himself in the world of third-wave coffee, traveling across the country to visit iconic spots like Blue Bottle and Intelligentsia, while always keeping a close eye on local third-wave shops. Compliments on his coffee-making skills were constant, and eventually, he decided it was time to bring his expertise to the local community.
What started as an idea to bring a mobile espresso cart to events quickly expanded into Carmel Coffee Catering, offering not just mobile coffee bars but also catering for large and small gatherings. From beautifully arranged coffee tables to convenient drop-off services, Jacob’s mission has always been to deliver exceptional coffee experiences wherever they’re needed.
Carmel Coffee Catering officially began in May 2024, starting with small local events such as church gatherings and baby showers. Since then, we’ve expanded to cater to a wide variety of events, including corporate gatherings, weddings, and private parties.

Jacob Bargo – Owner/Operator
Jacob is the driving force behind Carmel Coffee Catering. A Kelley School of Business graduate from Indiana University and a software engineer by profession, his dedication to creating the perfect cup of coffee inspired the foundation of the business.
Courtney Bargo – Sales Manager
A Luddy School of Informatics graduate from IU and a web designer by trade, Courtney leads sales efforts and ensures that our clients receive exceptional service from the first point of contact.
Sam Gillam – Operations Manager
Sam is also a Kelley School of Business graduate with a degree in Supply Chain Management. He works in procurement and ensures that our operations run smoothly, from sourcing high-quality ingredients to organizing logistics for every event.
